Evolution of mobile photography: Early Mobile Phones (2000s): Early mobile phones featured low-resolution cameras, typically around 0.3 to 2 megapixels. These cameras were primarily designed for capturing basic snapshots and were not suitable for high-quality photography.   Megapixel Race (Mid-2000s): Manufacturers started competing in the "megapixel race," continuously increasing camera sensor resolutions.
